Devotion 4/1, May Your Spirit Guide My Life Today!

The Spirit of the Lord . . . has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners. . . .
Luke 4:18
Jesus declares His mission: to bring hope, healing, and freedom to the broken, bound, and blind through the power of the Holy Spirit. This anointed ministry highlights that Jesus came to mend broken hearts, offer spiritual sight, and release us from the bondage of sin and despair.
Jesus was not acting on His own, but was empowered by the Spirit to bring God’s grace directly to humanity. The same Spirit that was upon Him now works in us.
He came for the “poor”—those who know they are spiritually bankrupt and need His grace.
Are you feeling captive to fear, brokenhearted, or spiritually blind? Jesus’ message is one of freedom. He offers to heal you, restore your vision, and set you free from the burdens you carry.
Lord, thank You for bringing good news and freedom. I trust Your anointed power to heal my broken heart and break the chains that hold me back. May Your Spirit guide my life today. Amen.

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
