Devotion 4/6, He’s Our Refuge

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or sword? … No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Romans 8:35-37
What indeed shall separate us from Christ? Nothing!
Trouble, hardship, persecution, nakedness, danger, and sword are all adverse circumstances that can cause separation in other areas of human life, but never from the love of Christ Jesus. We who have accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior have the very Spirit of God living on the inside of us as a guarantee of our position before God as His very own (2 Corinthians 1:21-22).
We are God’s possession and no one can steal anything from God; we have the seal of the Holy Spirit, and nothing can break that!
Thank You Father, for Your precious gift of Jesus Christ, for Your seal on my soul, and for Your never-ending love and care for us. We thank you for securing our ultimate victory by raising Jesus from the dead and promising to send him back for us as your Conquering King.
We give all praise, glory and thanks to you this this day, Amen!

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
