Devotion 4/12, Lead My Steps Today, Lord!

Use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace. . . .
1 Peter 4:10
Recognizing the gifts of others is a lesson we all need to learn. And celebrating all this to the glory of God is essential. What’s more, giving people room to use their gifts in ways that open doors lets them enjoy being people of God and His family. Without that open environment we don’t get a chance to enjoy the gifts and talents God has given His children, our brothers and sisters in Christ. What is your gift?
Lord, thank you for the joy of serving you and serving others. Remind us to be thankful for others’ gifts and to celebrate together. I pray I provide an open and welcoming environment for others to share their gifts.  In your name I pray, Amen.

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
