Devotion 9/22, Rely and live in God’s love

We know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. 1 John 4:16

When you are doing loving things to bless the lives of others, you can be sure God is in your heart. People rely on our love just as we rely on God’s love for us as children of God.
We certainly “know and RELY on the love God has for us.” Look to the cross of Calvary, for there He shed His precious blood for the forgiveness of all my sins, past, present, and future, sparing me from an eternity in hell. Oh yes, we can RELY on the love God has for us as His children! Oh such love.
Go with a renewed purpose to act in love towards those God places in our path each and every day. Plant that seed and let the Holy Spirit do its work.
Show someone today the love that Christ would!

Thank You Jesus for Your great love for me. I pray for a loving heart, that I act in love to all those that come in my path today. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen

We are called to love each other as God loves us. That means with the good and the bad we are to love just as He loves us.
I keep sinning, yet He keeps loving me. Lord, purify my heart, that I show your unending love to others that pass in my path today, not by what I say but what I do.

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
