Devotion 9/29, Greetings
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
2 Corinthians 13:14
I think this such a powerful verse, a powerful greeting to share with each of you. It’s a spiritual blessing. It’s short, love, grace and fellowship. They are all from the love of God, His eternal kingdom, and His sacrificial and gracious nature, for His believers, my brothers and sisters in Christ. Share these blessings with those in your path. What better gift than God’s love, grace and fellowship for those around you.
It is by grace that we are saved: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—“ (Ephesians 2:8). Grace that we all receive through Jesus, grace after grace from His fullness. (John 1:16) We have been forgiven, the love of God had covered multitudes of sin, and it is not just grace that we received at the moment that we were born again, but we have grace every time that we need it.
We are saved, we are members of the Body of Christ. The love of the Lord fills our lives, and we now have love to love one another, and because of His grace we know that God loves us all the same.
This strengthens each of us, and as one body we can endure all that Satan, governments and this world puts in our path.
“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all!”
Father, I am thinking of several precious friends who need the richness of this blessing to fall upon them. Please bless them richly and graciously. In Jesus’ name I ask it. Amen.
Lord, I pray all that read this devotion, can sing in their hearts, “I’m no longer a slave to fear, I am a child of God!” Pray for His grace, mercies and love to fill your heart. You are His creation, a child of God. “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all!”
