Devotion 2/27, My All in All!

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
Psalm 107:1
God repeatedly tells us in scripture to praise and thank Him.
When we are praising and thanking God, we are focusing on Him, not ourselves. Nothing we do is ever deserving of the kind of thanks and praise that He deserves. He is due our eternal thanks for He is perfect and does more for us than we will ever even know until we are in heaven someday. God is our Protector, Deliverer, Sustainer, Provider…etc. He created us and loved us when we were so very unlovable;
Romans 5:8
But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.
God is good, and His love endures forever. Nothing in this world lasts forever, nothing.
What do we have that won’t wear out, break, die, go out of style, or ever need repair? We can rejoice and give thanks because our life and future are tied to the Eternal Father, the creator of the heavens and maker of our world. Not only is God good, but he is also good to us. But more than just being good, he is loving, and his love will not wear out, grow old or fade away.
Father God, thank You for Your never ending love for me. Thank You for rescuing me from myself and for giving me hope in a hopeless world. You are my all in all and I praise You this day for Your greatness. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
He is my all in all! What a powerful song. Listen to the words closely and the peace of God be with you all!

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
