Devotion 3/20, God is with us
The LORD will keep you from all harm – he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
Psalm 121:7-8
Some pain is necessary to help us mature and grow. Some of it is just the agonizing result of living in a fallen world. However, we can be fully confident that if we share the Lord and give our lives to His will, nothing can steal us from His ultimate victory, care, and reunion with him. Knowing how we love each other, imagine how much the Father loves us and longs to bring us to that place of safety in His house! Until we get home, isn’t it comforting to know that He is watching over us now and forever?
This is a precious passage to every single child of God! There is a perfect plan for our lives and God has placed His guarantee upon it by stating that our coming and going have His watch and protection every step of the way.
O, Father, I know you see and watch over me, but sometimes I miss seeing you and find it hard to wait to be comforted and blessed in your presence and my eternal home. Watching and waiting, Father, I look forward to our first face-to-face meeting. Until then, I recognize your watching care over all of my ways, and thank you now for everything I will one day receive. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
