Devotion 4/28, Worship His Majesty
I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever. Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever.
Psalm 145:1-2
The way we praise God forever and honor our pledge to give him glory for all the days of our life is pretty simple: we start by doing it today. As long as we praise God today, the forever takes care of itself! So as we commit to exalt the name of God and praise him for all eternity, let’s remember the place it starts: we praise God today — not only in the things we say but also in how we do what we do, how we live!
Father God, thank you for loving me and for Your faithful care and keeping of me each and every day. Help me to always praise You with my lips and serve You with my life, starting today. For You alone are worthy of such dedication and love, Amen!
