Devotion 5/5, Praise the Lord!

Praise the LORD, O my soul. I will praise the LORD all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.  Psalm 146:1-2
We all have bad days, days when things are just going in a different direction than we would like. On those days, how it helps to just stop all the negative thoughts and start praising God for the blessings that He has shown us in life. For all the protection He gives, the needs that He meets, and for all that love that He shows us in numerous ways daily. He sent Jesus, His only Son, to die for our sins so that we can spend eternity in heaven instead of hell when we leave this world. We can always praise Him for that no matter our current circumstances in life!
Our lives are to be a “holy praise” to the LORD as long as we have breath! So how’s your praise? Have you only been letting it out at church? Hmmm, maybe it’s time to let the rest of your life have a few hallelujahs as you praise the LORD with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength!
Lord, thank You for Your care and keeping of me throughout my life, thank You for loving me, for forgiving my sins, and for never forsaking me. I give You all my heart felt praise this day, Amen!
Praise the Lord, always!

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
