Devotion 7/5, Faith and Confidence
In [Christ] and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.
Ephesians 3:12
What an honor it is for us to have God’s attention, to know that the Creator of all that exists cares about every detail of our lives! Lord help us to never take Him for granted, but to always come before Him with a humble heart, a heart that is in total submission to Him and wants nothing more than to love and serve Him while we are on this earth.
Romans 3:22
And this righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no distinction.
When we placed our faith in Christ and His work on the cross for us we entered into a union with Him, a union with unspeakable privilege. We can go into the presence of God through prayer at any time, with full confidence that He hears our prayers and is not upset with us for coming to Him and seeking His wisdom (James 1:5).
Father God, thank You for sending Jesus to this world to save me from my sins and put me in right standing with You through faith in His blood. I give You all praise, honor, and glory this day, Amen!
