Devotion 7/20, Speak Jesus Today!

Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, “I find no pleasure in them.”
Ecclesiastes 12:1
Solomon is pointing out that a life given to living for God when a person is in their youth is much more effective for God and more satisfying for the person. There is a lot of energy and stamina that young people have, if this can be used for God and for spreading the gospel, think of the impact it will have!
Ask God to help you to be a mentor to a child in your life today. They are so loved by God and many are in need of a godly individual to lead them in the ways of Christ! I promise you that it is a rewarding way to spend your time and bring glory to God!
Father God thank You for the children in my life. Help me to be a worthy example of Your love to them and to coral their energies towards You Father. Thank You for sending Jesus to pay my sin debt and to bring me eternal life through His bloodshed for me. I give You all praise, honor, and glory this day, Amen!
Lord, I pray when people of any age cross my path today, the Holy Spirit moves me to speak Jesus by what I say and do. May I live my life for your kingdom and your kingdom only. Amen.

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
