Devotion 10/16, Jesus is coming back
I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
Ezekiel 38:23
In this chapter we see God destroying His enemies and rescuing His people. Those nations and people who try to destroy God’s children will have the wrath of God to deal with. As it says in Isaiah 54:17, “No weapon formed against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from Me,” declares the Lord.
One day this world will have to bow to and acknowledge Jesus Christ. One day God will send Him back to this world and He will not come as a humble little baby this time, He will come in all the majesty and glory of His Father God (Revelation)! He will destroy those nations and people who plot against Him and He will establish peace on this earth once and for all. Are you ready? Come Lord Jesus!!
Father, I cannot fully understand Your greatness and holiness this side of heaven, but I do reverence You Father and I purpose to bow to Your will each day. Thank You for loving me even when I mess up and for sending Jesus to cleanse my sins on the cross at Calvary. Father, I give You all praise, honor, and glory that You so richly deserve this day, Amen!
