Devotion 10/17, Sufficient for today

Break the arm of the wicked and evil man; call him to account for his wickedness that would not be found out.
Psalm 10:15
God has proven Himself to be the friend of the helpless and hears their cry. He will break the arm of the wicked by exposing their wickedness until every last one is punished. We need not fear that anyone will get by with their evil acts against God and His people, the Lord says in Scripture that vengeance is His to repay, and repay it He will….in full!
Romans 12:19
Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the LORD.”
It certainly looks like evil is prevailing in our world, doesn’t it? Mankind appears to be sinking further and further in to wickedness and disobedience to God and His Word. But God is still on His throne and will only let mankind go so far before He sends Jesus back to take His blood bought children from this world to be with Him in heaven forever. Then God will set about to make this world pay for all the evil and wicked acts they have done against Him and His children. Oh yes, it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God (Hebrews 10:31)!
Father God, thank You for sending Jesus to die for my sins and making me Your child through faith in Christ. Help me to not become discouraged by all the wickedness of this world Father, but to know that You see all and will repay all for every evil thing done! I pray that You help me to keep my eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of my faith. I give You all praise, honor, and glory this day, Amen! Come Lord Jesus!!

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
