Devotion 10/26, the battle belongs to Him

Woe to those who go to great depths to hide their plans from the Lord, who do their work in darkness and think, “Who sees us? Who will know?”
Isaiah 29:15
As we know from Scripture God sees all and knows all, even before it happens! He will administer His judgment to all those who plot against Him or His people in due time. We see this happening in our world each day, don’t we? It happens in politics, in corporations, in families, and sadly even in churches. Satan has left no area of life untouched by his filthy hands.
But, God has already defeated the devil and as God’s children we have defeated him too. All we have to do is listen to and follow the Holy Spirit of God that indwells us to live the life that God desires us to live for Him! A life that is a reflection of Christ!
Father God we know just a fraction of the evil that goes on behind the scenes in our world, but we know the sin in our own lives Father! Help us to confess our sins to You each day and to purpose in our hearts to live a life that is worthy of Your name that we bear. I give You all praise and glory this day, Amen!

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
