Devotion 10/28, His mercies and grace

Your statutes stand firm; holiness adorns your house for endless days, O Lord.  Psalm 93:5
I know that I will never fully grasp the extent of His holiness this side of heaven.
All will be holy when Christ reigns, and everything will be characterized by holiness as predicted in Isaiah 23:18, Zechariah 14:20-21, and Revelation 4:8.
What comfort there is to know that the God of the universe is my Father! It will never cease to amaze me that He loves me and has called me His child through faith in Christ. Every child of God has a bright and glorious future in eternity. Have you thanked Him today for all that He has done for you?
As we build our lives, let’s construct them on a secure foundation, the will of God and a commitment to share in his holiness by living to honor him.
Holy God, thank you for forgiving my sin by your grace. Please fill me with your Spirit and bring forth the Spirit’s fruit in my life so that I reflect your grace and holy character. Please give me a hunger to know your will as I seek your truth and apply it to my life. I want to build my life with you at its center, with your holiness as my goal. In Jesus’ precious name, I pray. Amen.

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
