Devotion 11/5, Thy will be done

For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.  Luke 11:10
Every request we bring to God is answered, there is never an unanswered prayer. We can rest assured that it is the very best for us because God does all things well and is always good to us (Mark 3:37, Psalm 116:7). He sees our life from beginning to end and when we let Him orchestrate our lives, we will be a blessing to Him, to others, and to ourselves. We will experience a peace, joy, and contentment that can be found no where else!
God loves us with a Fathers love and will surely guide and protect us in every aspect of life. His eye is never off of us and His love, mercy, and compassion are never ending!
Father, thank You for all the answers to my prayers, even when it was a “no” to what I asked for. I give You my life to do with as You see fit, for You are perfect in everything that You do. I pray that I recognize Your will when I see it and obey You always.

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
