Devotion 11/13, God’s Will

Thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him.
2 Corinthians 2:14
Paul pictures the Lord Jesus marching as the conqueror and leading the apostle in His train. The fragrance of the knowledge of Christ is dispersed through the apostle everyplace he goes.
When we step out of our homes each day we should have the aroma of Christ about us in all we say and do. That aroma should be love, compassion, patience, mercy, and grace for others. When they observe us acting as Christ would act they will know a little bit of what Christ is like. Then maybe they will inquire to know more about why we behave as we do, giving us opportunity to share Jesus with them!
Father, thank You for sending Jesus to die for my sins. Thank You for turning the stench of my sin into a sweet smelling aroma through the blood of Your own precious Son. Help me to be a worthy example of You to all I come into contact with Father, for Your glory, honor and praise, Amen!

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
