Devotion 11/15, Give Thanks

[Paul shared this thanksgiving with his son in the faith, Timothy.] I thank God, whom I serve, as my forefathers did, with a clear conscience, as night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers.  2 Timothy 1:3
Sometimes our encouragement words to others is all we need to keep the fire burning in this difficult world. There is nothing like sharing our gratitude to God with someone, it will help us to only focus on the blessings of God and His kingdom rather than things of this world.
Don’t withhold your blessing another day from someone precious to you. They may urgently need it at this moment in their walk with Jesus.
Father of all grace, thank you! Thank you for every spiritual blessing I have in Christ. Thank you today for the special people who are such a blessing to me in my walk of faith.  Help me grow in showing my appreciation and approval of these precious people so they can know what a blessing they are to me. In Jesus’ name, I thank you. Amen.

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
