Devotion 11/24, The only wise God
To the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen.
Romans 16:27
God alone is the source of pure wisdom, and to Him belongs glory through Jesus Christ our Mediator, forever! This is such an important topic in today’s culture, isn’t it?
We praise him for his gift of Jesus to atone for our sins, his gift of mercy to perfect our failings, his gift of patience to help us straighten out our inconsistencies, and ultimately, we praise his gift of love and life to provide our salvation.
God, may your glory shine forever in the lives of your children and be reflected in our faithfulness to your righteous character, gracious compassion, and faithful lovingkindness. May your praises always be on our lips and in our hearts. May people see your love for us in our lives, now and forever. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
