Devotion 11/27, Blessed to be a blessing

You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
2 Corinthians 9:11
God promises multiple times in His Word that all our needs will be met, not all our “wants”, but all our essentials (Philippians 4:19, Matt. 6:33, Philippians 4:6). He is a good and loving Parent who cares tenderly for His children (Matt. 7:9)!
God blesses his people so that they will be a blessing to others. Let’s make sure we are not merely recipients of God’s blessings; let’s be conduits of those blessings to others so that they can join us in our praise and thanksgiving for our wonderful and generous Father in heaven.
Father, thank you for lavishly blessing me with so many blessings. Please open my eyes to see how I can pass on those gifts to those around me, especially those who most need them. As I share the blessings you have so lovingly given me, may others find their greatest blessing of all, your loving grace, and may they give thanks to you in Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Blessed to be a blessing.

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
