Devotion 11/29, Our hope is in Him

For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.  Romans 15:4
When we read in God’s Word all the experiences of God’s people in the past and how they persevered for Him, it gives us hope. We know that we are not alone in our trials and tribulations, others have endured difficulties and come through them for God’s glory!
God repeatedly gives his people reasons to hope for a brighter tomorrow. And after giving hope to his rebellious and forgetful people, God brought the assurance of that hope, that brighter tomorrow, by sending Jesus!
Thank You Father, for your perfect Word. Thank You for sending Jesus to die for my sin and redeem me to You. Thank You for the eternal hope that only You can give! Help me to obey Your Word in my life and bring honor and glory to You, Amen!
The Goodness of God!

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
