Devotion 12/6, Share, care and give thanks

Among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people.  Ephesians 5:3
Just as we represent our earthy parents in this life, after we become born again through faith in the blood of Christ, we now represent Him to all we come into contact with. Every single Christian is a testimony, the question is what kind of testimony are we? When the world observes us do they see Christ in our actions, and hear Christ in our words?
In this season of giving, let’s honestly examine our hearts about our “wanting,” “getting,” and “possessing.” Let’s choose to be people who share, care, and give thanks!
Father, help me to be sensitive to those in my world that I can show love, kindness, and forgiveness to. Help me to live a holy, God-pleasing life by faith in You so that others may want to have You for their Savior as well. in Jesus’ name, Amen.

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
