Devotion 1/15, Thank you Jesus

You were marked in [Christ] with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession — to the praise of his glory.
Ephesians 1:13-14
This is our guarantee from God that we can never lose our salvation!
Many false teachers today will teach that salvation can be lost, but we have to stick with what God’s Word says, not mankind. No one can remove the mark of God, we are His eternally and He always keeps His word!
When we believe in Christ, and by doing so place our faith and trust in Him as our Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit of God comes to dwell in us. This is the mark of God Almighty on us, it is our guarantee from God that we are joint-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17). We are now God’s possession, we belong to Him through our faith in the blood of Christ, no more do we belong to satan and this world, but we have been transformed (2 Corinthians 3:18) to God’s child and a citizen of heaven (Philippians 3:20).
Precious Lord Jesus, thank You for coming to this earth and shedding Your blood for the forgiveness of my sins. Thank You for making me eternally God’s child and a joint-heir with You! I am blessed and honored to be Your follower and pray that You help me to always be an accurate reflection of You to all I meet each day. Amen.

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
