Devotion 2/26, You’ve been “Changed”!

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.   Galatians 2:20

When we place our faith in Jesus Christ and His blood for the forgiveness of our sins, our standing before God goes from sinner to child of God. The old evil “I” was crucified and has no more claims on our daily life.

We still sin in our lives, but now that we know Christ we have the Holy Spirit indwelling us which convicts us of the times we give into our selfish ways. Then we do as it says in 1 John 1:9 and confess it to God. We have a new purpose in our heart to live a more obedient life for Christ and trust that God will help us do so for His glory. Our prayer should be every day that Jesus’ life may be manifested in our bodies. When people see our life walk, Lord help us that they would see a glimpse of Christ and want to know Him too!l

Thank You Jesus for dying for my sin. Lord, help me to die to myself daily so that I may effectively live for You. I  pray I live my life lifting you and magnifying You and I give You all praise, honor, and glory this day, Amen!

2 Corinthians 5:17  Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!”  You’ve been “Changed”!    https://youtu.be/0dyU05GYQF0?feature=shared

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
