Devotion 4/18, Your Word

Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me — put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
Philippians 4:9

Paul’s statement shows great confidence in how he has lived his life as an investment in living a holy life in partnership with others. Paul’s example in saying these words becomes a good definition of good leaders: Do what they say because they follow the scriptures, back it up with the character and quality of their lives to show it is true!
I genuinely hope my life reflects what I say, write and do.

Heavenly Father, please bless me with the integrity that comes when my convictions, words, and actions are consistent and righteous as I live in genuine partnership with my brothers and sisters in Christ. In Jesus’ name, I ask this. Amen
Lord,your Word never fails us!

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
