Devotion 5/1, Father, You Alone are Worthy!
To our God and Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Philippians 4:20
From Philip Ware: “When was the last time you prayed and didn’t request anything from God? You simply thanked and praised God. Why not use today as a day of thanks and praise? Don’t ask for anything; commit to offering praise and thanksgiving to the Father without requesting anything in return! Praise him for who he is, what he has done, and what he is going to do! Thank him for blessing you, saving you, and bringing you into his glorious future! Let today be a day of thanks and praise to “Our God and Father” to whom belongs “glory forever and ever”. “Amen.”
Father God, You indeed are to be most praised for all Your care and keeping of me in my life. I can so clearly look back and see Your provisions and Your hand guiding me, sometimes pulling me through! I seek to do Your will each day that I live, for Your glory Father. All praise glory and honor to You and thank you for your love, grace and mercies. Amen!
