Devotion 9/2: Will You Not Tell It Today?

I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders.   Psalm 9:1
When God does wonderful things in our life we should be quick to give Him all glory and praise! And we should tell others, not in a bragging or arrogant way, but in a humble and contrite way because we know how much we do not deserve His love and protection! God is always faithful to His children, even though we are not always faithful to Him (Hebrews 13:5). Lord help us to tell people of the love, mercy, and grace that God has for all and how He sent Jesus to atone for our sins on the cross at Calvary!
A heart filled with praise to God will not only praise Him but will lead others to do so as well. I can’t think of a better example of this than Andrew, who heard about Jesus. The first thing Andrew did was tell his brother Simon Peter and bring him to Jesus (John 1:40-42).
O Lord, I praise you from the bottom of my heart. In addition, dear Father, please bless me today as I seek to bring others to know and honor you more fully by following Jesus. In Jesus’ name, I pray, asking for your power and grace to be with me as I seek to lead others to Jesus. Amen.

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
