Devotion 11/11, Blessed Beyond All Measure

Even as [Jesus] spoke, many put their faith in him.     John 8:30
John 8:30-32
Even as He spoke, many put their faith in Him. To the Jews who had believed on Him, Jesus said, “If you hold to My teachings you are really My disciples. Then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.”
As Jesus spoke these wonderful words to the people about His relationship with God the Father (vs.29), many of those listening could see that He and God were indeed Father and Son and therefore placed their faith in Christ Jesus.
As we go through this life let us cling to Jesus Christ and not stray from His teaching which is only given in His Word the Bible. We should read and meditate upon it each day and then apply it to our daily lives. It is not to be read as some history book, but as the very Word of God Himself that it is! When we follow His teaching we will be blessed beyond measure and more importantly bring honor and glory to Him!
Thank You Father God for Your infallible Word, thank You for sending Jesus to die for my sin and for redeeming me to You. I give You all praise this day as I seek to glorify You and Your Kingdom in all I say and do.  I am so thankful to you as you bless me beyond measure. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen!

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
