Devotion 11/28, Give Thanks!

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits. Psalm 103:2
We are continually commanded by Scripture to remember the deeds of our God. When the world comes crashing down around us, it’s hard sometimes to remember how faithful God has been and will be. It’s easy to get so wrapped up in the fleeting cares and problems of this life and forget how perfect and never-ending the next life will be.
We need to be quick to remember the benefits of a restored relationship with our heavenly Father today as we take time to bless and thank the Lord for all the wonderful things he’s given us.
Holy and gracious Father, may we be quick to remember the benefits of a restored relationship with You today as we take time to bless and thank You for all the wonderful things You have given us. We give thanks to you Lord, for your mercies, love, grace and blessings. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Happy Thanksgiving, have a blessed day!

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
