Devotion 12/30, All Hail King Jesus!

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.”
Hebrews 12:28-29
Some kingdoms on this earth appear to be quite powerful and unshakeable, but they are not. God’s kingdom, however, cannot be shaken. The kingdoms of this earth are occupied with and clinging to the tangible and temporary things. True believers in Jesus Christ are clinging to His kingdom which is eternal and will wipe away the other kingdoms of this earth one day at His return. All that they can see and touch will be destroyed (vs. 27). When God ends the shaking process, only what is real will remain. Then the kingdom of Christ, which we cannot physically see now, will be seen by all!
All praise and adoration be yours, O King of kings, Lord of lords. Thank you for giving me a place in your incomparable, indestructible, and unconquerable Kingdom. In Jesus’ name, I worship, love, and praise you. Amen.

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
