Devotion 1/14, Greatly to be Praised!

I will sing to the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live. May my meditation be pleasing to him, as I rejoice in the Lord.   Psalm 104:33-34
Singing to the Lord lifts our spirits. If I am having a bad, hard or rough day, it is amazing how singing to God or listening to godly music can brighten my outlook on the day! What a wonderful gift that God has given us!
So, whether you can sing well or just make a joyful noise, sing with gusto to God! He loves to hear your voice singing praises to Him.
Psalm 98:4
Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth break forth into joyful song and sing praises!
Psalm 142:6
I will praise the LORD all my life; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.
Father, thank You for giving us music and for giving us a reason to sing to You. Thank You for loving us and sending Jesus to die for our sins! How can we ever praise You enough for such a wonderful gift of salvation and eternal life in heaven with You. We pray that our meditations are pleasing to Your ears Abba. We give thanks for your love, mercies, blessings and grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
