Devotion 1/17, The Shepherd’s Point of View

The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.
Lamentations 3:25
“Faith is not the belief that God will do what you want. Faith is the belief that God will do what is right.”-Max Lucado
Those who wait patiently, hope fervently, and seek the Lord will find their soul’s deepest needs met. So, we can wait quietly, not complaining but anticipating our salvation coming from the Lord!
Give us patience and faith, please, O God, to wait quietly on your deliverance when life is hard and everything seems to be against us. I believe that you are good to those who persevere, waiting patiently in hope for your mighty deliverance. Dear Father, please give us the strength we desperately need to wait quietly in faith, trusting that we will receive your salvation and your blessing as we live to honor you. In the name of your Son, Jesus, we confidently pray. Amen.

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
