Devotion 1/20, Never Abandoned, Believe!

The Lord your God is a merciful God; he will not abandon or destroy you or forget the covenant with your ancestors, which he confirmed to them by oath.   Deuteronomy 4:31
You are God’s beloved child and that God will never leave you. God does not abandon his children. He loves us, and we belong to him. He is always with us, no matter where we find ourselves. Nothing can separate us from God’s love and presence (Romans 8:38-39). God can be trusted.
Pray, read the Bible, and believe God’s words. He will not abandon you. Even when you might not think so, he is there, always.
Believe!
Lord, help me always to believe you are with me, even if I do not feel your presence. Send your Holy Spirit to open the eyes of my heart to feel your presence and guide me in Your ways. I give all thanks, glory and praise to You and Your kingdom. Amen.

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
