Devotion 3/3, Now Lift Up Your Voice, Great Is The Lord!

They cried to you and were saved; in you they trusted and were not disappointed.
Psalm 22:5
Psalm 22:5 holds a profound revelation of God’s faithfulness and deliverance. This scripture declares that those who cry out to God are saved and not disappointed because they trust in Him. In this verse, we find a powerful assurance that our cries to God are always met with salvation and deliverance.
The phrase “they cried to you” speaks of the desperate pleas of God’s people in times of trouble. It’s a reminder that our prayers are not mere whispers into the wind, but rather, they are urgent cries that pierce the heavens and reach the throne of God. When we cry out to God, we can be assured that He hears our prayers and responds with deliverance.
I ask, dear Father, that you bless your people everywhere who find themselves in difficult situations, whether persecution, oppression, violence, illness, etc. Please empower them with your Spirit and bless them with a change for the better in their dire situations. Please hear the cries of your people and act swiftly for their protection and preservation. In Jesus’ name, our conquering Savior, I pray. Amen.

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
