Devotion 3/19, I’m A Sinner! How will I approach God today?

…..be merciful to me, a sinner!”  Luke 18:13

How will I approach God today, with conviction and passion or with indifference?

As the Pharisee or the tax collector,
as the thief who revoked Jesus or the thief who asked to be remembered,
like the soldiers that mocked Christ or the centurion who believed in Him.
Or will I be an indifferent bystander? Not an
Innocent bystander but an indifferent bystander.
The difference matters. What’s the reflection of your soul that God sees!
Heavenly Father, I pray for strength to do your will today. I ask for your Holy Spirit and your Word to guide me and open my eyes to your Truth, Jesus Christ. I’m a sinner saved only by your grace and I give thanks for such a love, that you sacrificed your Son for our salvation.
All praise and thanks to you Lord, Amen.

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
