Devotion 3/20, The Love of God

No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.  1 John 4:12
What an incredible thought! God can be seen in our homes when we love those in our family. The Father of the universe lives in my church, and His presence can be recognized when we love those in our faith and church families. Almighty God’s love is recognizable in our lives when we love those around us and when we choose to be loving instead of petty, unforgiving, critical, and harsh to our brothers and sisters in Christ. God reveals his presence, power, and perfection in us! God is love; we reveal his presence when we love each other.
O Father, please make your presence, power, and perfection known through our love for your children and our love for each other. In Jesus’ name, I ask this. Amen.

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
