Devotion 4/7, Thy Will Be Done Lord!

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.  Galatians 6:9
We can use our resources to sow into eternity, or we can squander them on the selfish pleasures of this life which are temporary and will not bring any lasting joy or happiness.
At times we can become weary in “doing good” in this sinful world. The evilness seems overwhelming to us as believers. But, we must remember that God’s timing is vastly different from ours! His is perfect and ours is not. Our part is to obey His Word and live as He calls us to live. He will give us the wisdom and strength we need to navigate this life He has given us for Him when we seek His counsel each day.
There is a real satisfaction with life when we obey God!
Thank You Jesus for shedding Your blood for the forgiveness of my sins. Help me to use what You have blessed me with in this life for Your will and not my own. I give You all praise and honor this day, my King of Kings, Amen!

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
