Devotion 4/11, He Won’t Let Go!

In every battle you will need faith as your shield to stop the fiery arrows aimed at you by Satan.
Ephesians 6:16
Many jokes are made about the devil, but the devil is no joke. People of all ages today want to know about the devil, about witchcraft, about the occult. Many people do not know they are turning to Satan. They are being deluded because, according to Jesus Christ, Satan is the father of lies and the greatest liar of all times. He is called a deceiver. In order to accomplish his purpose, the devil blinds people to their need of Christ. Two forces are at work in our world-the forces of Christ and the forces of the devil-and you are asked to choose. God’s hand is “always” there. Don’t let go.
I have chosen to serve You, my Lord Jesus. Give me Your strength to battle the deceptions of Satan. I give you all praise glory. I, a sinner, give you thanks for your love, mercies and grace. In your name I pray, Amen.

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
