Devotion 4/19, I will strengthen you and help you

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish.
Isaiah 41:10-11
Some have called this the most wonderful verse in the book of Isaiah. As God’s children we are assured of His presence, His relationship, His help, and His sustaining power.
We have nothing at all to fear, God’s watchful eye is never off of us, everything that touches our lives must pass through His hand first. He will never leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). He has promised us that all things will work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purposes (Romans 8:28). No one can stand in our way when we are doing what God has called us to do. Our enemies will be ashamed and destroyed! What a glorious position we are in before God because of the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross! What blessed assurance!
Thank You Father God for Your care and keeping of my body, soul, and spirit. Thank You for loving me and calling me your own dearly loved child. I give You all the praise, honor, and glory that You so richly deserve this day Abba, Amen!

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
