Devotion 5/4, I Will Follow You Lord!

Blessed are they whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the Lord.
Psalm 119:1
I attempt to make sure my relationship with Christ takes precedence over all, but fail miserably. For this relationship to remain a blessing to me, I must purpose in my heart to obey God. I simply cannot  have a blessed life if I choose to disobey Him. My prayer everyday is that I say and do those things that please the Father, oh there are many times that I fail miserably, but I go to Him in complete repentance and He is faithful to forgive (1 John1:9)!
John 14:15
“If you love Me (Jesus) you will keep My commandments.”
Psalm 37:18
The Lord takes care of those who obey Him.
If you have trusted Christ, the only way your life will be blessed is to obey Him, there is no justification for disobeying Him!
Father, thank you for blessing me so graciously. As I seek to live according to your will, I know I experience the blessing of your presence and the power of the Holy Spirit in my life. Please bless me with wisdom to understand your will and the courage to live that will faithfully. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
