Devotion 6/5, The Love of God is Revealed in His Word

Search the Book of the Lord . . .Isaiah 34:16
A knowledge of the Bible is essential to a rich and meaningful life. The words of this Book have a way of filling in the missing pieces, of bridging the gaps. Learn to take every problem to the Bible. Within it’s pages you will find the correct answer. But most of all, the Bible is a revelation of the nature of God. The philosophers of the centuries have struggled with the problem of a Supreme Being. Who is He? What is He? Where is He? If there is such a Person, is He interested in me? If so, how can I know Him? These and a thousand other questions about God are answered in the Bible.
How glorious it is to read Your Word and learn more of You, my Savior and my Lord! I pray for your Holy Spirit to lead me in my spiritual growth. Lord I seek to help build your kingdom in all that I say and do. All praise and glory be to you oh Lord, Amen.

About Mike & Marcia

I started this journey trying to help someone that had reached out during some troubled times they were dealing with personally.
Turns out in the process I had to deal with my own anger and disappointment with the situation. I prayed for guidance which lead me to giving it up to Christ. It helped me help them writing a daily devotional and in the process I realized my own devotions were lacking. It's now my daily routine. I pray if nothing else it helps to focus on our God of grace if only for a moment for everyone that read them.
I do take requests and any comments.
